Our Special Little Man
He had a special spirit that touched everyone that came in contact with him. His eyes could just melt you and they were so beautiful. He made an impact on the lives of all of the medical professionals that cared for him, they still speak of him. He changed many lives in his short time here. As his parents we will be forever changed, but I believe in many positive ways. He showed us what it is to love, completely and totally and to appreciated life in ways that we never had before. For such a short time on this earth he left quite a legacy and it is still growing.

Connection
We are connected, my child and I,
by an invisible cord, not seen by the eye.
It's not like the cord that connects
us 'til birth.
This cord can't be seen by any on Earth.
This cord does its work right from the start.
It binds us together, attached to my heart.
I know that it's there, though no one can see,
The invisible cord from my child to me.
The strength of this cord is hard to describe.
It can't be destroyed, it can't be denied.
Its stronger than any cord man could create.
It withstands the test, can hold any weight.
And though you are gone,
though you are not here with me,
The cord is still there, but no one can see.
It pulls at my heart, I am bruised..I am sore,
But this cord is my lifeline, as never before.
I am thankful that God connects us this way,
A mother and child--death can't take
it away!

A Special Angel
There's a special Angel in Heaven
That is a part of me.
It is not where I wanted him,
But where God wanted him to be.
He was here just for a moment,
Like a night time shooting Star
and although he is in Heaven,
He isn't very far.
He touched the hearts of many,
Like only an Angel can do.
Every minute that I held him,
I pray my Love he knew.
So I send this special message,
To Heaven up above,
Please take care of my Angel
And Send him ALL my Love.

Loved
Don't think of him as gone away--
his journey has just begun,
Life holds so many facets--
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting from the sorrows
and the tears, in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost--
and he was loved SO much.

Family Chain
They say memories are golden, well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you, a million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you, you never would
have died.
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you
still.
In my heart you hold a place no one could ever
fill.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems
the same.
But as we are called one by one, the chain will
link again.

My Heart
I thought of you with Love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. Christmas with Teddy
Matthew loved his Christmas Teddy. It moved and read "Twas the night before Christmas". He didn't take his eyes off of it.

Christmas in Heaven
I see the countless trees around the world below with tiny lights like heaven's stars reflecting in the snow.
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away that tear, for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear, but the sound of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you of the Joy their voices bring, for it is beyond description to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart, but wipe away your tears, for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I can't tell you of the splendor or the peace here in this place. Can you just imagine Christmas with our Saviour face to face?
I'll ask him to lift your spirit as I tell him of your Love, so then pray for one another as you lift you eyes above.
Please let your hearts be joyful and let your spirit sing, for I am spending Christmas in Heaven and I'm walking with the King.
